What is your new job?

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing cutting-edge manufacturing processes for composite structures. You will be involved in projects from concept to delivery, working closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities: 

🔹Develop & Optimize Manufacturing Processes – Define and qualify innovative composite manufacturing techniques.
🔹Translate Customer Requirements – Work closely with clients to ensure their specifications are manufacturable and cost-efficient.
🔹Lead Process Improvement Initiatives – Identify areas for optimization, improve production workflows, and enhance efficiency.

🔹Define & Support Tooling Design – Collaborate with design engineers to create and refine tooling for production.
🔹Risk Mitigation – Analyze and mitigate potential risks during design and production phases.
🔹Technical Documentation – Create and maintain process flows, work instructions, and technical reports.
🔹Stakeholder Collaboration – Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
🔹Support Acquisition & Business Development – Contribute to proposals and provide technical input during project acquisition phases.

We are searching for an experienced and innovative process engineer who excels in a dynamic, high-tech environment. Our ideal candidate has:

🔹 Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
🔹 Experience: At least 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in aerospace or composite manufacturing.
🔹 Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of composite materials, production methods, and automation.
🔹 Analytical Mindset: Ability to assess production processes, mitigate risks, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
🔹 Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
🔹 Attention to Detail: A structured and precise way of working, ensuring quality and consistency.
🔹 Leadership: Ability to mentor junior engineers and drive process innovation within the team.
🔹 Collaboration: Strong communicator who easily connects with engineers, project managers, and production teams.
🔹 Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
