Commercial Project Manager

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee the engineering and delivery of high-tech automation systems and production lines. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations. You’ll foster a collaborative, energized team environment, encouraging innovation and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from contract to delivery
• Manage budget, timelines, and customer satisfaction
• Mentor colleagues and support business unit growth
• Ensure continuous quality improvement
• Collaborate across departments (commercial, procurement, engineering, production)

Airborne has a strong international orientation, in customers, suppliers and colleagues. You will navigate the cultural differences and are open to occasional travelling.

Your team

In this role, you will report to the Team Lead Project Management. You will work together with colleagues from the commercial department, procurement, engineering department and production.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Automation, Aerospace)
• At least 2 years of technical project management experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of automation, composites, and Lean Manufacturing
• Comfortable with project management tools and reporting
• Residing within commuting distance of The Hague
